Who knows me best.

I am writing about the person who knows me best as part of a weekly posting challenge.

This one was so easy. Ray knows me best. He would have to have been oblivious for the last 43 years to be not be that person. The idea that you look like each other the longer you are married doesn't hold true. However, in so many ways we have become alike. The most interesting similarity to me is the fact that we rarely fight, but are constantly negotiating the details of our life that we don't agree on. We also don't feel like rushing into most decisions. It is a joke that we talk about painting a room or buying furniture for five years before we actually do it. For us, this easygoing pace works. We are both satisfied and have reached decisions we are both happy with. It doesn't work for other people, but it does for us.
