There will be change

Barack Obama won the presidency last night. It is an unquestioned win which had been one of my concerns. The Democrats have a majority, and are faced with a lot of ugly business. What I am praying for is that the political process can bring both parties together to solve the troubles our country is facing without becoming buried in the tit for tat the public has suffered for years.

Yes indeed...we just need to pray for Obama and his family and certainly continue to pray for our country. It desperately needs it. I hope that differences can be set aside and everyone works together, not just in the government offices, but us common people. I know first hand that people took this election personal and it's caused problems in families and amongst friends...very sad that people cannot believe in what they believe in and voice their opinion without causing conflict. I don't believe in rubbing my beliefs in someones face, but I will stand up for what I believe in. I was basically told that I wasn't a real american nor was I a christian if I voted for Obama. That truly upset me and I had to make a stand and now some family members (not locally) are not speaking to me. Very sad!
