Yesterday was Wyatt's third birthday. He had a party with several of his friends and by his account it was a great success. We were fortunate that we had a beautiful fall day, and the party was held on the new porch Nick has been building. Wyatt was just ecstatic when everyone sang happy birthday. He enjoyed blowing the candles out he had to do it twice.
The theme of the party was pirates and all the children were wearing pirate hats, hooks and eye patches when we got there. The cake had pirates on it as well.
The new play set Nick built was put to work as well. I think it is going to get a lot of use over the next few years.
