Ray and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary on July 10th. Nicole had ordered a beautiful cake which we shared with the members of our church between services during fellowship hour. Nicole had actually planned a much larger celebration including Ray and I renewing our vow for the day. I was going to get a semi fancy dress and Ray was going to wear a suit for the occasion. However, with my Father passing away the week before I was just not up to having a celebration. Nicole had already paid for the cake, so we had a small party which was just fine. It was really nice that Andrew and Theresa were there as well. Andrew even came to church.
I guess we will try for another party again at 50 years.
